Today on the show, guest host Ashley Smith is joined by Libby Watson of No Hate in WA State to discuss two controversial bills focused on LGBTQ youth that Washington will vote on this fall. Resident parent Liam Billingham joins to ask questions about how these policies affect parental rights. Then, Ashley and Liam are joined by contributor Brett Hamil to chat about why you and the neighbor who is in the shower ALL THE TIME may be paying the same as you for hot water (ever heard of RUBS? It’s got lots of Seattleites angry!). Finally, the trio discusses the news that Lake Washington is cleaner than it was just 25 years ago, how to check if it’s safe to swim in at any given time, and Ashley and Brett help Liam with his fear of lakes.
