Mayor Postpones Ballard Sweeps, A Failure of Sexual Assault Law, and Weekend Recommendations
Today on the podcast, Jane is joined by contributor Marcus Harrison Green and producer Sam J. Leeds to discuss the Wilson administration’s decision to postpone a sweep in Ballard and a new executive order to identify public lands to house people. Marcus shares a story he co-reported with The Stranger’s Hannah Murphy Winter, looking into a “structural crevasse” in the state’s sexual assault law. And then, Jane and Sam are joined by City Cast Seattle's Prince of social media, Ben Keenan, to discuss recommendations for your long weekend plans!
