Denny Blaine Updates, Vera Project Expands, and Psychedelics Are Bipartisan Now?
Today on the show, Jane is joined by contributors Chase Hutchinson and Guy Oron to discuss the latest update on the Denny Blaine saga – how advocates for Seattle’s queer nude beach have organized as a non-profit and were granted a Motion to Intervene in the lawsuit brought by a group of neighbors trying to close the park. Then Jane explains why a little-known psychedelic called ibogaine has become a darling for a surprising group of bipartisan politicians, including here in Washington state. And finally, the three break down some much-needed good news for the Seattle arts scene.
